FMS Dassault Mirage 4000 Ready-To-Fly 70mm EDF Jet with 2.4ghz Radio system and Retracts
This is a scale replica of the French Dassault Aviation Mirage 4000. This twin engined prototype featured small canards and first flew in 1979, it was much heavier than the previous Mirage 2000 as it was to be both intercepter and fighter bomber. The aircraft formed the development platform for the very successful Rafale.
Our aircraft features a powerful and responsive ducted fan and brushless motor combination and is powered by the supplied light-weight 20c 2200mAh 4 Cell Lipo Battery.
The scale outlines and detailed paint scheme are further complimented by mechanical retracts, these also feature a steerable front nose wheel. When the undercarriage is retracted it reduces drag and further enhance flight performance.
The flight envelope of this aircraft is vast, it excels at fast and low passes as well as high “G” turnarounds such as half reverse Cuban eights and Derry Turns, but once you slow down it remains extremely predictable and performs high alpha flight both upright and inverted. The FMS Mirage 4000 will definitely impress friends and spectators as the light wing loading and instantaneous throttle lets you confidently “wring” this aircraft out, without you even breaking into a sweat.
The canopy is quickly removable, this allows you to swap batteries quickly and easily minimising non flying down time. We strongly suggest the Bionic 30c 4s 2200mAh LiPo as a performance upgrade.
